Finding a boat for forty people in Varanasi is easy. Getting forty people from a hotel through closed lanes to the right ghat, aboard, seated and back again without losing anyone is the actual job — and it is where most group bookings come apart.

So every group booking we take includes a coordinator whose only role that evening is your group. They meet you at the hotel or the road head, walk the group down together, handle boarding in order, count heads on and off, and stay reachable on a phone the whole time.

For groups up to 50 a single Bajra works. Above that we run two or more boats in convoy, moving together and holding position together, so the group stays a group rather than splitting into boats that lose sight of each other.
